Yamaha unveils SOUL GT commuter model in Indonesia
Japanese two wheeler manufacturer Yamaha Motor has unveiled the new ‘SOUL GT’, an automatic transmission (AT) commuter model in Indonesia.
The new commuter is powered by 115cc engine with Yamaha mixture jet-fuel injection (YMJET-FI) system which comprises an auxiliary air intake to offer an 'air assist' for efficient integration of the air and fuel, further improving fuel economy.
Yamaha said that the 'SOUL GT', which is the successor to the company's existing 'Mio SOUL' model, was designed mainly for the young male customers.
The new model is manufactured and marketed by the company's Indonesian subsidiary Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM).
Japanese two wheeler maker said, it will manufacture about 400,000 units of SOUL GT per year in the country.
