Renault Trucks France appoints new managing director

ABR Staff Writer Published 13 March 2012

French truck manufacturer Renault Trucks has appointed Dominique Pollien as the new managing director of Renault Trucks France.

In his new role, Pollien will be responsible to increase the company's market share with regard to fuel consumption.

Pollien said that to win the confidence of new customers, there is only one solution - consistently provide a better solution for their needs.

"It is therefore up to us to offer products and also services which will enable them to optimise their operating costs and stay competitive on their own markets," Pollien said .

He also aims to mobilise all available energies with a series of additional training programmes for the French network and setting them, as for his own teams, ambitious and clearly-defined objectives.

With more than 30 years of experience at Renault Trucks, Pollien has been developing the company's sales on new markets, particularly in the Middle East, Africa, Spain, then in Eastern Europe for almost 13 years and, most recently, in Turkey.
