Chrysler unveils special edition Mopar 300

Chrysler Group, a US-based automaker, has unveiled the new special edition Mopar 300 model at the Mopar’s headquarters in North Carolina, US, prior to its debut at 2012 Chicago Auto Show.

The company claims that the new Mophar 300 is powered by a 363hp 5.7L hemi V-8 engine, that offers the sedan with a 0 to 60 mph acceleration in about five seconds.

The special edition model is also equipped with a fuel saver technology that turns off the cylinders when not in use.

The 2012 Mopar 300 is available at a starting price of $49,700 and the car will be on sale this summer while only 500 limited-edition Chrysler 300 models will be manufactured.
